Sel-Rex plating processes and equipment
Q. I would appreciate the help of finding the phone and address of Sel-Rex. Any information about electroplating micro structures would be interesting to me. Thank you, Robert

A. Hi, Robert. Sel-Rex was a well known supplier to the electroplating industry (especially precious metals plating), and was located in Nutley, NJ. However, that plant closed down decades ago as the division was subsumed by other companies. The trade name is owned by Enthone-OMI in New Haven, Conn., USA. Please contact them because I don't know whether or not the Sel-Rex name is actively used today.

Ted,
Thank you for the response about Sel-Rex. Your finishing site was exciting to find. We are working on setting up a gold electroplating bath. We already electroplate with copper, nickel, etc.
Q. I am new in the field and have a lot to learn. I am interested in any electroplating of microstructures.
See ya,
Robert

A. Hi again. Some threads here about plating of microstructures include topics
308,
30699,
35398, and
36890. Or if you search the site for "microstructures" or "mems" you'll find more.
Good luck.
