Polymer Substitutions




Does anyone know if there is another wastewater treatment better then polymer? Or....maybe there is a better polymer then the one we are using.

Jennifer,

You haven't defined your need enough to answer. For example, just what do you mean by polymer? Is this standard hydroxide precipitation with added polymer flocculant, or something different? The polymer used in this case needs to be evaluated on an individual shop basis. Are there systems that are better? That, too, depends on your needs. Can I get lower pollutant discharge? Yes. Do I want to pay for it? Depends.
