Prevailing Torque Flange Nuts with GM7111M Finish
We are nut manufacturers in Michigan and are quoting on a nut with a GM7111M "plus subsequent treatment with a suitable water soluble lubricant to minimize galling". The product is a prevailing torque nut. Is this plating acceptable for torque nuts? Is this advisable?
Do you know a plating manufacturer who is willing to apply this plating to an M10x1.25 hex flange prevailing torque nut?
