Aluminum Chromate process
Q. Hi sir,
I have done chromate in aluminum, after chromate process what is the time gap required for chromate process then powder coating process.

Searching the site for "Delay between Aluminum Chromate & Powder Coating" reveals thread 56514, "Delay time between chromate conversion coating of aluminum and priming/painting" and thread 22012, "How soon after processing must chromate conversion coated surfaces be painted/powder coated" each offer several opinions on the subject.
Personally, I think if your in-house spec is 24 hours you won't go wrong.
