Anodizing Appearance Problem on Silkscreened Panels
September 7, 2020 [ed. apologies: not posted til January 27]
Q. My name is WAN NORJANAH and I am the QA FOR SILKSCREEN INDUSTRY for COSMETIC PARTS. We process parts for DJs. We've had a reject on an anodised component. This fault I have never seen before. This is invisible when looking straight at it.

A. Hi Wan. Thanks for the photos and for explaining what you do. Still, it isn't possible to assist in troubleshooting until we receive details of alloy, process sequence, etc.
But the fact that you can't see this defect well when looking face on, plus the defect's visual similarity to one reported and illustrated on another thread about teflon coated hard anodizing, makes me wonder if these components have a teflon impregnation step. If so, I'd suggest that might be where the problem is arising.
Luck & Regards,
