A. Hi, Baladewan.

Actually, Armoloy is a licensed process and you won't get the process parameters unless you license it. But there is a specification for "Thin Dense Chromium Plating", AMS 2438, which may meet your needs. Good luck.

Armoloy vs Hard Chrome

Q. What is the difference between the patented Armoloy formula and conventional hard chrome processes?

A. Hi Karla. As an introductory aside, a Ford Thunderbird is a 2-seat sportscar, a 6-seat inexpensive family car, a 4-seat luxury car, or whatever the trademark owner decides at a given time. Thus, only the trademark owner can decide what Armoloy is. And we can't comment on particular brands anyway (why?) ... but there is a recognized specification for "thin dense chrome", AMS 2438 which may be helpful.
