Recommendation needed for black nickel vs. chrome plating




Hi,

I am looking for a black optical absorbing coating on the copper substrate. The optical radiation wavelength range would be between 1000nm to 10,000 nm. The power density is high. My questions are:

1. Which plating is better between black nickel and black chrome?
2. what are the specifications should I request for my application?
3. Which company has more experiences for high quality job?
