Q. Dear Sir,

We request of you an explanation of the difference between electroplating and microelectroplating.

Please advise. Thanking You.

RFQ: I am a small trader of imitation jewellery. Now I want to diversify, to start electroplating or micro plating. I have little knowledge about it. I tried hard for past 3 years but no one is ready to teach the process. My imitation jewellery is of copper, and brass material. Until now I used to gold plate it on the outside but the cost was very high. So I decided to start it myself, approached many people but no help. The cost of plating should be as low as 20 rupees. Anyone who can help me in teaching, and telling me where I can get the machinery, please mail me.
I want to be the best business man. As I am from Mangalore of Karnataka state, so I used this mode of approach. Hoping there will be a silver lining.

Ed. note: Sorry, this RFQ is old & outdated, so contact info is no longer available. However, if you feel that something technical should be said in reply, please post it; no public commercial suggestions please ( huh? why?)
