Wanted: Non-conductive, waterproof sealant for circuit boards
I am looking for a non-conductive, waterproof spray-on sealant that we can use on circuit boards to protect them from corrosion. I am told that there is such a product, it goes on approx. 7 mils thick, and you need a black light in order to see it. Any ideas?

You are speaking of conformal coating. Primarily used for circuit boards that have outdoor applications, where, although they may be in an enclosure, temperatures changes can cause moisture to condense on the board, possibly causing shorts.
There are acrylic and silicone and other types available. Many have an ultraviolet indicators so that complete coverage can be inspected under a UV or black light. I could reference Mil specs for the process if you need.
We use an acrylic, although there are dozens of brands & types readily available. They can be applied in a number of ways too. We use a spray can. An electronics distributor should carry a selection.
