Color coating very small lots of stainless steel

I am looking for a cost effective way to color coat 316 Stainless steel parts of small quantities. I need 14 different colors for the application, but will only be color coating a couple of parts in each color.

I read this post online, and am interested to learn more. We are a manufacturer of medical devices. If you can provide information it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Zan. Your situation is also that you only want to color one or two parts in each color? It is quite difficult to come up with a coloration process that is practical to apply to a couple of parts. But maybe you can have the parts e-coated (electrophoretic lacquered)? It is a good process with lots of colors available, very thin coatings, and good corrosion resistance. Good luck!
