Seeking Electroless-Nickel Plating Kits

I, like many others in my field of research, am seeking a supplier of small-scale "electroless" nickel plating "kits" (including pre-treatment/s).

The kits are for the occasional (once a month) plating of oxidized metallographic research samples. My samples are approximately 1cm^3 in size and require a hard, conducting coating (say, 50 microns thick) that will coat into the micro-fissures of the outer oxide surface.

The proprietary plating kit I use at present is unsuitable because the palladium chloride pre-treatment solution supplied has a limited shelf-life (less than a few months) -is this because it is supplied and stored in a plastic bottle with which the palladium chloride reacts? Other suppliers of "electroless" nickel plating materials that I am aware of only supply in bulk, which is unsuitable for us.

Alternatively, I would be keen to hear from suppliers of suitable pre-treatment chemicals/solutions which have significantly longer shelf-lives than the one I currently use.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can assist in my enquiry. Thank you in advance.
