"I ran across two old photos from Columbian Playground baseball teams. They are attached with the names/coaches of the players...and an old photo of the Ampere Section of 4th Ave. and 18th Street. Note: the vast majority of the players pictured attended Mass at All Souls. Always fun checking out the web-site from All Souls.

By this year, the rec dept. had obtained "sponsors" for the teams/uniforms. This 1954 team was "East Orange Sporting Goods" from Columbian Plgd. They went undefeated and swept the "American Intra-City League". Record: 23 W, 0 L
