Refinishing Aluminum engine on Honda Motorcycle




I am restoring an old honda motorcycle. The engine is aluminum.I would like to know how to make the engine look like new aluminum.Is it possible? Thanks.

Hi, Dennis. What is required is mechanical polishing. Obviously this is not easy when you have heat exchange fins and other shapes that make it difficult. But we have many threads on line here about aluminum polishing. The best starting point may be letter 800. Good luck
