Coating a copper cooktop hood
I have fabricated a copper hood to use over a cooktop. What can I use to coat the surface to prevent tarnishing?

Hi, Roger. You can use a brass lacquer ⇦this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] or a one-component clearcoat. The brass lacquer can be easily removed with lacquer thinner ⇦this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Warning! highly flammable! periodically and restored.
