STAINLESS STEEL FINISHING
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NO. 6 AND A NO. 4 FINISH FOR STAINLESS STEEL. WHAT EXACTLY IS A NO.6 FINISH FOR STAINLESS STEEL?

Yo, John!
This is explained, with pictures, in Publication 9012, "Finishes for Stainless Steel" from the Nickel Development Institute. Surf over to www.nidi.org and fill out the on-line form, and they'll send one to you. For free. While you're at it, pick up a copy of 9014- it too is superb.
Good luck!

for Silver Finish on Stainless steel you have to make matte finish (NO.4) or also known as hair line finish.
