Black zinc chromate finish

We've been able to do yellow/gold colored zinc chromating using a simple formula of chromic, sulfuric and, nitric acid. Can anyone share their knowledge on black colored zinc chromating?

The finishing business is done differently in the States; I haven't seen a shop try to formulate their own chromates in 25 years. But black chromates (for zinc) will involve silver compounds.

It would be great if you can share the formula of gold colour chromate, as I have not been able to develop one.

Thanks,
