Pretreatment of coil rolled steel (012,014,011) and LOW OR HIGH CARBON,Aluminium

Dear Sir:

I would like to have a very detailed method of pretreatment of steel and aluminium before power coating. Could you please give me as much information as you possibly can about degreasing and phosphating and chromating, Stabilizing of phosphate coating. Our system is dip system. We would like to know the chemical combination of materials and time of dip separately for chromating, phosphating and all other processes. Please give us the exact percentage of chemical material required for the process. Would please give us a detailed flow chart or block diagram of this process.

In the case that you are not able to help us directly, would you please be kind enough to guide us in the correct path. Would you please be kind enough to give us information regarding new processes or any latest technological breakthroughs regarding this topic.

Would you please give us the monthly subscription details of your magazine " METAL FINISHING". We would be very glad to subscribe to your magazine.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Hashemadeh, we applaud your curiosity, but the multitude of questions you ask are answered by entire libraries of books, and a reply to your posting could never take the place of those libraries. The closest thing you will find in one volume is probably the Metal Finishing Guidebook, which does come with that subscription to Metal Finishing magazine that you expressed interest in.
