Galvanic corrosion resistance for steel
I need to coil coat thin sheet steel-0.0066"- It needs to be bondable, and corrosion resistant. I am bonding steel to aluminum and need to avoid galvanic issues, as well as atmospheric RH issues on both sides of the sheet. Is there a bondable finish that is cost effective for the automotive industry (Consider Chromium VI regulations)? So far I have not been completely happy with ECCS or Tin Plate.

Have you considered Aluminum plating the steel?
