How do I gun blue?
Hello there,
I am interested in refinishing a golf club. It is a brass putter, made of several alloys, and I want to gun blue it. Could you please email me some directions on the simplest/most effective way to do this?
Thank you,

You might consider a hobbyist product marketed under the names: "Rustall" or "Weatherall". These are chemical solutions that can produce a variety of colors on a range of different metals. Most of the search engines can get you to retail commercial suppliers by looking for these trade names.
