Repairing Dings and Scratches in White Lacquer Furniture

Q. I have a white lacquer dining suite that has had a few bumps in moving. The wood is showing so the mishap has created a loss of lacquer about 3" x 1" as well as smaller indentations. How and what do I use to fill it in and touch up the lacquer.

Q. Hello! I have a white high gloss lacquer cabinet that I accidentally scratched in a couple of places using an abrasive pad. Scratches are very light and look like discoloration in the finish. Any suggestions on how to restore the white high gloss?

Thanks!
