Powder-Coated Fencing for indoor Cat Enclosure

2001

We have a cattery and are interested in making our own breeding and stud cages rather than purchasing the ones that are commercially available. We have done some extensive searching both online and in person at farm suppliers, fencing manufacturers and retailers, with other breeders, and at pet suppliers and have not been able to find a commercial source for powder-coated fencing. We (and hundreds of other cattery owners) are interested in something about 6' in height with welded wire and 1" by 2" grid.

1) Does anyone know of a source for ready-to-purchase powder-coated fencing meeting these specs?

2) If we purchased a 100' roll of 6' plain welded wire from a farm supplier, how much would it cost to have someone powder-coat it? What would a reasonable turn around time on that be?

Did you consider using vinyl coated garden fencing?

I have been looking for the same product and for the same purpose. Have you succeeded in finding the fencing product and have you successfully used it for making cages? How have you designed the cages?

You should check the supplies for bird cages, 6 foot x 6 foot x 6 foot. at corners unlimited.
