Lacquer Coatings for Jewelry
We produce silver jewelry (rings, earrings, & pendants), and I am looking for a good silver protection system. Is there a lacquer system that is not as hard to set up as the cathodic electrophoretic coatings? What type application systems might be available?

There is a company here in Albuquerque which carries some clear coatings for silver jewelry. The name of the company is Rio Grande.
I hope this helps.

Hi John,
There are easier ways than e-coating, but you might sacrifice the even distribution that it offers. Easiest way I can think of is filling a tank with lacquer, dip the parts and let them hang to dry. You can also build a spray booth or buy a centrifuge machine, it all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a lacquer to do it with, please follow the below link.
Thanks
