CASS TEST STANDARDS FOR FUNCTIONAL CHROMIUM PLATING

What is International/Japanese CASS TEST standards for functional Hard Chrome Plating of 30 microns?

CASS testing should be performed to ASTM B368. This specification covers the operation of the test and does not provide a basis for interpreting the data. I do not know if there is an international spec for how long 30 microns of hard chrome should last. Do you have any specific requirements from your customer? I am in the automotive industry, and our customers create specifications that let us know how long our parts need to last in corrosion testing.
