CORROSION OF ZINC PHOSPHATE
Why is that, sometimes the zinc phosphate coated areas become corroded, is it due to environment, contamination or any other factors? How long a zinc phosphated are can stand corrosion ?

If the zinc phosphate is kept well oiled it might resist 48 hours of salt spray, Norakmar, but phosphate is not intended to be a corrosion resistant finish -- it's a pretreatment for paint or powder coating. Good luck.
