White Chromate Treatment of Aluminium

Can anybody help me with information about white chromate treatment of aluminium. On my client's drawings surface treatment - "white chromate". What difference between white and yellow chromate ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your client may be referring to Clear (CC) Coating which differ from Multi Color (MC) type of Conversion Coating. We have used Alodine (1000) for this application but I have no idea if Iridite has a product similar to this.

Dear Sir,
Phosphoric acid along with some other chemicals can be use for aluminum treatment as non-chromate white treatment.
Any thing contains chrome can not be colorless.
