MIL/Fed Specification Information Requested
As a business in the UK we are able to download our Ministry of Defence specifications off the internet. Does anyone know if the US MIL specs and the Fed specs are similarly available?

Indeed they are!
Go to assist.daps.dla.mil/ (note the lack of www) and click on the "Quicksearch" button. Then type in the spec number you want. It should come up as a convenient pdf file.
Good Luck!

Ed. note May 2013: Make that quicksearch.dla.mil/
Try searching here for .pdf's of U.S. Mil specs & Fed Std's:

Ed. note: Thanks. We did try that and the search engine seemed to work, but it seemed less convenient and user friendly than getting the specs from the dla site. But it did seem to have many additional useful documents.
