Here is Help for Zinc Electroplating

2001

Setup: For the zinc test

Attach a penny to the negative side of the battery
Attach the positive end of the battery to a clip
Attach another clip to a piece of zinc
Add 600ml of vinegar in bulk on eBay or Amazon [affil links] to the tank
Add 45ml of salt to the tank and stir the salt until it is dissolved
Put the piece of zinc and the penny in the solution
Connect the two clips together
Watch

Monitoring the zinc:

Observe the penny every few minutes
Do that for 3 hours

To take out the Zinc:

First you must wear latex or protective gloves
Then you have to disconnect the wires from the battery
Finally you, by avoiding touching the water pull out the wires from inside the tank
