Corrosion of Metals by Iode/Iodine Solution

I am looking for a metal resistant to the corrosion by a iode/iodine (I2/I-)solution. This is for application in dye-sensitised solar cells.

Nickel resists iodine well, but not sure about other iodine compounds, nor alloys such as stainless steel that contain nickel. Vanadium is also rated good, but stay away from tantalum and molybdenum. I would consult with a commercial source for these exotic metals, and also check if a plating, or other surface coating methods, applied to a less expensive substrate would work.
