Conductivity of Zinc Plated surfaces -- yellow vs. clear or blue chromate passivation?
Which one of these processes give me more Conductivity, Zinc plating with Yellow passivating or Blue passivation?
The component is a Shield plate as an Electrical Bus , under my PCB.
The use of Electroless Nickel is not possible since the process is more expensive!

"Colorless" chromates usually offer little to zero electrical resistance whereas "gold" colors offer better corrosion and electrical resistance.
Hope this helps! - Bill
