High surface area nickel plate
I am looking for techniques to nickel plate steel strip to a very high surface area finish such as a dendritic surface.
I would also be interested in knowing if there are commercial platers which use these techniques.

Dear Mr Mitchell:
We specialize in nickel vapour deposition, which can give you a very high surface area finish, as a coating, on steel (or any other substrate that is thermally stable at 350 °F).
