I AM LOOKING FOR A REFERENCE GUIDE FOR POLISHING/FINISHING/BUFFING METAL. ie: STAINLESS STEEL SPECIFICALLY, BUT preferably FOR ALL FERROUS AND NON FERROUS METALS.

You might want to start by obtaining "The Metal Finishing Guidebook and Directory Issue" which is available from the publishers of Metal Finishing Magazine.

This website also has a listing of technical books for sale.
