Material properties for AA8011 aluminum

Q. I need to find the material properties data / composition for AA8011 aluminum, I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I tried sites like matls.com and a lot of other sites.i would also like to know if there is any other aluminum type that is interchangeable with AA8011 for the manufacture of ROPP caps. would appreciate a quick reply. thanks a lot.

A. You can contact European Aluminium Foil Association - EAFA or International Primary Aluminium Institute for help. you will be able to locate their web sites on the internet. Both the organisations have "Help" feature and they respond fairly quickly. Alternatively if you search for "Aluminium" on web, you will find a number of producers like Alcan, Pechiney ... who will be able to provide complete specs.
