Clear or clear/tinted finish for galvanized steel sheet

I'm an Architect designing a reception desk with a curved 14 ga. galvanized steel sheet transaction top and valance. I'm interested in finding a finish for the steel that is clear but not shiny. The finish needs to protect it from fingerprints, smudges, and scratches. It's okay if the finished product looks industrial, and it would be great if it could have a dark-tint to to make it look older.

You might want to consider using air dry clear lacquer semi-matte or full matte. This coating will have very low gloss. A tint can be added to enhance the finish.
