Chrome plating electroless nickel plated parts
Is it possible/feasible to chrome plate brass parts that have been previously subjected to electroless nickel plating?

You can plate Cr over EN but the EN has to be active. Also the %P content has a significant effect on the activity of the EN the higher the P the more passive the EN.
After plating I would recommend a good Ni activator or Woods Ni strike.

Royce,
After En you should clean the part cathodic in a at least for 2 minutes with a clean electrocleaner. Use pumice ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] if you need after that. activation in 10-percent hydrocacid solution for 1-2 minutes. finish with a clean 60-percent sulfuric acid 4 voltage for 15-20 sec. Start the chrome plate with low current 0,52 voltage for 5 minutes. After that go up to the normally current density you plate chrome.
good luck
