DRY FILM NEEDED - FAST -

Please help, I need Information on the following finish;

Sandstrom 329 DRY FILM (Molybnenum & Graphite based)

Thickness 0.0005 MIN.

How is it applied, and all the information related to this finish.

After this dry film we need to zinc electroplate the part, is this possible?

Thank you for your help.

It sure doesn't sound right to me. Can you double check if the dry film is supposed to go AFTER the zinc plating instead of before?

Ted,

I think you are right, the dry film is after the zinc plate.

Do you have information on the dry film?

I really appreciate your help:

Thank you

Sandstrom Products Company is located in Port Byron, Illinois.

Dry films are applied in the thickness range .0002 to .0005 inches to reduce friction and minimize galling, and may offer some increased corrosion protection as well. They are usually applied by dipping or spraying.

#329 Dry Film is claimed to be a heat-curing waterborne (zero VOC) formulation. You can contact Sandstrom for more information.
