Sterilizable Stainless Steel Coloring Process Needed

I am searching for a coloring process for 304 Stainless Steel that can withstand all of the sterilization and cleaning processes used in the medical industry including steam autoclave, peroxide plasma, steris, sterrad, etc. It also needs to be scratch resistant.

Hi, Toniel.

I suggest you contact B&M Finishers / Prismatic Stainless Steel [a finishing.com supporting advertiser] [Kenilworth, NJ] about their Prismatic process for coloration of stainless steel. I don't know if it would hold up to these requirements, but I think it's a lead worth following.
