Safety of "Chrome" Vinyl Wrap
Q. Can I Safely Use Mirror Chrome Cast Vinyl Wrap Self-Adhesive Film
on Refrigerators? What about Oven or heater?
Is it safe with food and moderate to high temperature?
What about kitchen cabinets?
My concerns mainly: Safety with food. Safety with mild or moderate heating durability.
Thank you

A. Hi Ali.
There are numerous manufacturers of this film so, to be 101% safe, you'd need to ask them for a Safety Data Sheet and the safe operating temperature for their product. But realistically, as far as I know there is no actual chrome in any of them; rather they are plastic films with vacuum metallized aluminum on them for the shine.
I believe their biggest use is on cars. They are probably fine on a refrigerator. Ovens may be too hot for vinyl wraps, and heaters almost surely are.
Make sure you get one advertised as "air release" or the nearly inevitable air bubbles when applying it will be a pain.
Luck & Regards,
