Q. Hello All,

I want to make sure my system can plate Super Duplex before promising a customer.

We run a traditional 100:1 Hex Chrome bath with an electrolytic cleaner and we etch using a room temp bath of 30% hydrochloric acid. We traditionally chrome plate 303 and 316 stainless and rarely, monel. We reverse etch in the chrome bath before plating. We plate at approximately 2 amps per square inch.
