Your question is very brief. I think you might be asking what chemical should be used to soak clean or electroclean heat-treated Monel, or perhaps to pickle it, or to electropolish it?

Fortunately, ASM Metals Handbook Vol. 5 has a whole chapter of information on "Cleaning and Finishing of Nickel & Nickel Alloys" including specific references to Monel ⇨
