Spots on steel parts from tumbling
Q. Hello
I am having a problem while tumbling steel parts using stainless steel pins, there are small dots left on the parts after tumbling.
I am using water with Holdtight 102 ⇦[this on
eBay or
Amazon affil links]
-- approx. 500 ml water to 1 tsp of Holdtight.
If I dip the parts in muriatic acid
⇦ this on
eBay or
Amazon [affil links] afterwards the marks are reduced greatly.
How to solve this problem when tumbling steel parts using stainless steel pins ?
