Precleaning steel wire before plastic coating at high speed

Q. I have recently installed a PET Wire extrusion coating line for making colorful decorative wires. But the m.s. bright wet drawn 1.00mm dia. wire has black residue of the soapy solution -- which is not easily removed with 80-90 °C Hot water at speed of 400 mtr/min.

If I use Tricholoroethylene, it may ignite in the induction preheater coil placed before the extrusion coating die.

Any good workable high pressure jet or rotary washing possible?
