Mixing of powder coating colors

Q. Can we mix 2 or more powder colors to make a new color for powder coating ? Will it affect the quality parameters of the new color ? Also will the surface finish of the new mixed color be affected ?

A. You will be surprised by trying this. The colours do not mix well, and in my experience come out an unexpected colour, almost always brown! And not uniform. And with gloss discrepancies.
I do not recommend it! (and yes I have tried it several times)
