MY NAME IS KATHY AND I AM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM I AM UP AGAINST HERE. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.
ELECTROPOLISHING SOLUTION PROBLEM EXCESSIVE FOAMING OF BATH. IS THERE A ANTIFOAM SUPPRESSANT KNOWN TO ANYONE? COMPOSITION OF BATH : PHOSPHORIC ACID, LACTIC ACID AND SULFURIC ACID.

A. Kathy: Foaming of electropolishing baths can also be caused by drag-in of organic materials, such as lubricating oils. Are you cleaning the parts adequately before electropolishing?
We have some foam suppressants available, but the most effective treatment is to remove the organic contamination.
