Permanent masking for plastic plating

Q. My situation:chemical engineer

Hello,
For plating on abs-pc alloy in airbag lion logo we have a pin on back of the logo that must not plating because after plating it will be plastic welded. If we have a coating on this point the welding will not be successful.
Please help me about material for masking. The masking material have to flexible.
Can we use silicone- rubber for chemical resistance in plastic plating line especially in etching tank?

Please help me the best material for masking.
