Filter for Ag and Au Strike Baths

Q. What type of filter to use for Ag and Au strike baths?

A. Hi Pat. Silver and Gold baths are probably fairly small, so probably a cartridge filter. There are reputed advantages and disadvantages to the various types of filters, but when tanks are small, simplicity is often king. If there is extra room inside the tank, you can use an in-tank filter, which makes it even a little simpler, and provides an extra measure of protection against losing the contents of the tank in an accident.
