Aluminum Conversion Coating US Equivalent to Alodine 160/161
Q. Our company is trying to preform a conversion coating process on aluminum for parts used in the medical field. We were using Bonderite M-NT 5200, but learned that it is not great as a corrosion inhibitor but as an adhesion layer. What would be a great Non-chrome corrosion inhibitor pre-treatment for aluminum? We are also wondering what the North American equivalence to Bonderite M-NT 160/161 (formerly known as Alodine 160/161) is?
