Rinse tank turns brown in a short time

Q. We have an automatic nickel chrome plant. The rinse tank after the neutralizer (Sulfuric acid neutralizer) becomes brown after 2 to 3 hours of working. The brown powder formed in the rinse tank appears like pitting after plating.

Please note that we use RO water in the rinse tank. We plate mufflers in the plant. Looking for some suggestions

A. Hi Shazer. This brown color is almost surely tiny particles of rust created by the neutralization of the pickling acid. It should be readily filterable. It is funny how your rinse tank so closely resembles the swimming pools of letter 14995 :-)
