Safety of locating anodize rectifiers near painting & powder coating

February 27, 2017

Q.
Dear Experts,

We have in-house finishing process including painting, powder coating and chromate conversion coating under one roof. My question is we want to set up Hard anodize coating under roof (adjusting to the powder coat and painting).
1. Tell us is it acceptably safe.
2. If so what are safety measures to be taken.
My concern is painting and powder coating are fire prone zones, but in hard anodize coating, rectifiers, compressor and freezers are set up couple of feet away.
If such situation what needs to be done?

Regards,
