Coating irregular surfaces with thick clear plastic

Q. I want to coat a fragile piece of drift wood with clear plastic to give it strength yet preserve its beauty. I suspect I would need to significantly modify the techniques used to coat tables and bar tops with thick clear pourable plastic. Any suggestions?

A. Try Paraloid B 72 dissolved in acetone this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Warning! highly Flammable! (20% solution); 'water glass' this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] can be used too.

Hope it helps and good luck1
