Apt Material requirement for Healthcare Furniture?

April 1, 2014

Q. Hello Sir,

Can you suggest on the best material to be used and what sort of coating would be better for Healthcare furnitures? We purchase Medical Furnitures, so was confused on the different materials available in the market. Furnitures include Beds, Stools, Foot steps, Trolleys etc

A. Hi Sujith. This is an awfully broad question, and my only specific suggestion is that you keep very aware of the state of the art in anti-microbial coatings so that you are not suddenly left out of the loop if the industry changes to such coatings. Good luck.

Regards,
